Community Bank of Boone opened its doors in June 1999 because people in our community wanted a locally owned and operated bank. Community Bank of Boone is 100% locally owned and managed, meaning that all decisions are made here in Boone and in a timely manner. We believe the people of Boone deserve better, and that's why we decided to start a community bank.
With just 30 local investors to start, Community Bank of Boone has grown at a steady and healthy pace. A downtown location was added in April 2002 to keep up with our growth and help to more conveniently serve our customers.
